About Morgan Advisory Services

John Morgan is Senior Vice President and head of the Advisory Group at Corbin Advisors, a corporate strategy and investor relations firm, where he oversees the firm’s retainer client business and advisory services. Prior to joining Corbin in 2019, John spent more than two decades in the asset management industry, working on both investment and client-facing teams.

He began his career at Putnam Investments in sales and marketing, helping financial advisors build their retirement plan business and managing institutional client relationships. Following his MBA, John transitioned to investment management as an equity analyst at Putnam, focusing on the industrials, energy, and basic materials sectors. Over the next 10 years, he worked on international and global investment teams, ultimately serving as lead portfolio manager for the Putnam Global Natural Resources Fund.

In 2012, John joined Epoch Investment Partners as co-portfolio manager and senior analyst, covering the industrials, consumer, technology, and healthcare sectors for the firm’s International and Global Small-Cap portfolios. He later became lead portfolio manager for both strategies.

John holds a BA from Denison University, an MBA from The Johnson School at Cornell University, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Outside of work, he resides in Hingham, Massachusetts, where he enjoys coaching his three children’s basketball and soccer teams, traveling abroad, playing competitive tennis, and scuba diving. He is also an active supporter of Year Up, a national nonprofit helping underserved young adults launch professional careers through intensive training, mentoring, and job placement.
